What is a Physiotherapist?
Physiotherapists are university-educated primary health care professionals who diagnose and treat patients with physical impairments and injuries. Physiotherapists will use their knowledge of the human body to determine the cause of your symptoms, and customize an appropriate treatment plan based on your individual needs.
Will Physiotherapy help me?
If you are suffering from any physical pain or impairment, you will likely benefit from physiotherapy. Our physiotherapists will perform a detailed assessment on the initial visit to determine the cause of your impairment and identify the anatomical structures involved. This process will involve documentation of your medical health history, current subjective history and undertaking a comprehensive physical examination.
How does Physiotherapy treatment work?
Based on your initial assessment, our physiotherapists will develop a personalized treatment program for you. Your treatment may be a combination of any of the following options:
orthotics, splints and bracing
What sort of conditions do you treat?
The following is a list of commonly encountered conditions by our Physiotherapists. Please note that list is not exhaustive.
